Over 100 million people globally are living with complex chronic illnesses like long Covid and ME/CFS - a number that continues to rise.
Technology has the potential to revolutionise our healthcare systems, from diagnosis, to treatment and symptom management and accelerating scientific progress. Wearables especially can give us insights into how our body is working in real-time. But the current options available are designed for fitness, not illness.
Visible is changing that. We use wearable technology to help measure and manage complex chronic illness.
Over 200,000 people already use Visible, which is designed to help with pacing, the symptom management strategy recommended by NICE and the CDC. Using real-time biometric data and research-backed metrics, Visible empowers patients to better balance their rest and activity to reduce symptom flare ups.
Our work is grounded in science. At Visible, we have ongoing research collaborations with leading institutions including Mount Sinai and Imperial College London, and our research is being published in top peer-reviewed journals. We are also expanding our portfolio of grant-funded, large-scale partnerships with leading health systems and academic medical centers in the U.S. and U.K. These collaborations, some already underway and others launching soon, ensure our technology not only supports patients day to day, but also drives forward rigorous research and contributes to the global understanding of chronic illness.
In doing so, we make invisible illness visible: for patients themselves, their caregivers, clinicians, and the world at large.

We’re looking for a doctoral-level (MD, PhD, PsyD, or equivalent) clinician and researcher with strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and solid project management instincts. This is a rare opportunity to direct and shape the foundational clinical and research strategy for a leading digital therapeutic product, partnering with our lead Clinical Advisor to guide and execute all aspects of the clinical and research strategy.
You’ll wear two hats: clinical generalist and clinical researcher, and be instrumental in building provider adoption pathways, shaping our clinical evidence, and supporting payer engagement. You’ll forge new and maintain existing productive provider partnerships. You’ll also direct and design research that matters, communicate it effectively, and translate findings into actionable frameworks that support real-world implementation.
